Book early! Our wedding falls during peak foliage season, so lodging, travel, and rental cars tend to go up quickly. We recommend securing your accommodations and transportation as soon as possible to ensure the best options and availability.
Mountain Top will provide complimentary transportation throughout the resort, ensuring you can relax and enjoy the festivities without worrying about getting around. This includes shuttles to the Beach House for the Welcome Party, to the Knoll for the ceremony, and back to the Barn for the reception. For guests staying in accommodations outside the main lodge, Mountain Top will also offer transportation to and from your cabin, guest house, or the Inn, following all scheduled events. For transportation from the train station or airport, please review our Travel page.
Mountain Top Resort offers a wide variety of activities to help you unwind and make the most of your stay. Enjoy the heated pool and hot tub, indulge in a full spa experience, or explore the outdoors with options like horseback riding, canoeing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and pontoon boat rides. For those looking to stay active, there's tennis, pickleball, disc golf, fishing, and even clay bird lessons. You can also enjoy nearby golf or take in the stunning beauty of 60 km of hiking trails on the property—perfect for exploring during peak foliage season.
Yes! Mountain Top offers plenty of parking for all guests, conveniently located in front of the Main Lodge and at your accommodations for those staying in guest houses or cabins.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you in the stunning Vermont fall! To make sure everyone feels comfortable and stylish, we’re going for a dressy casual vibe. For the ladies: You’re welcome to wear a fall dress, stylish pants, or a skirt paired with a nice top. Layering is key, so consider a jacket, sweater, or wrap to stay cozy. As the ceremony will take place in a grass field, opt for a thicker heeled shoe if planning to wear heels. For the gentlemen: A button-down shirt, smart sweater, or blazer with dress pants or chinos will do the trick. Please note that the weather in Vermont can be a little unpredictable in the fall, so we suggest dressing in layers. The most important thing is to feel relaxed and ready to enjoy our day—whether you're sipping cider by the fire or dancing the night away!
To ensure we can fully enjoy our ceremony and create a beautiful, distraction-free atmosphere, we kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Please be present with us as we exchange our vows! That said, we would love for you to capture memories throughout the rest of the evening! Feel free to snap photos during the reception, and we'll have a shared album for everyone to upload their images to!
We are excited to celebrate our special day with all of our loved ones, including the little ones! Children are welcome at the ceremony and reception. However, please note that we will not be providing childcare services. We ask that parents plan accordingly and ensure their children are supervised throughout the evening.
If there's something we haven't covered, feel free to reach out to us—we’re happy to help!
