The Wedding Website of Caitlin McKenna and Rohemir Ramirez Ballagas
Something to know about Roh is that he is obsessed with achieving United status and accumulating miles. What you should know about Caitlin is that she likes the free flights she can get from Roh's United miles! Here's our chance to help you accumulate some miles!!

Flight

Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU)

We recommend that you book your travel early! This will be a holiday weekend (Memorial Day) and Puerto Rico is a very popular destination – who would have guessed? Puerto Rico has multiple airports but only one international airport, the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (Airport Code: SJU). Please make sure that you book a flight to SJU. Do you need a passport to visit Puerto Rico? United States citizens and permanent residents don't need a passport to travel to Puerto Rico. Travelers from other countries visiting Puerto Rico have the same visa and passport requirements that would apply if visiting the United States. Hotel or AirBNB Suggestions

Puerto Rico offers a great variety of options for your stay. Caitlin and I decided not to reserve a block at any particular hotels but have identified a few options below: If you are planning to stay only through the wedding (2-4 days), we recommend booking a hotel in any of these areas: - Condado - Centro de Convenciones de Puerto Rico - Isla Verde (near the airport) Here are a few options: Condado: - Hotel La Concha (Marriott) - San Juan Marriott Resort (Marriott) - AC Hotel San Juan (Marriott) - Caribe Hilton (Hilton) Centro de Convenciones - Sheraton Puerto Rico (Marriott) - Hyatt Place San Juan - Aloft San Juan Isla Verde - Fairmont El San Juan Hotel - The Royal Sonesta San Juan If you are planning to stay a little longer (4-7 days) then we would recommend looking into a short-term / long-term vacation rental through services like Airbnb. In this case, we recommend looking for rentals around: - Condado - Old San Juan - Ocean Park Feel free to reach out to Roh if you would like him to share his thoughts on your options.

Travel Note

Getting around in San Juan

Since all the events are taking place in the San Juan area, you will be able to get around using rideshares (Uber, Lyft) or taxis. However, if you are planning to stay longer (4-7 days) and want to explore around the island - we would recommend that you rent a car to move around.
