We're getting married!

Robin and I first met through our mutual friend, Kelsea Allen. Robin and Kelsea have been friends for about 10 years at this point. Kelsea was my roommate in Lexington and we visited Louisville frequently to enjoy the nightlife and Robin's company. One random day, Kelsea said "you know... you should go on a date with Robin." Low and behold he ended up inviting me to Churchill Downs for his birthday celebration. However, I didn't hear a peep out of him until a couple of days after his birthday. When he finally reached out again, he had some work to do :) We went on several dates and slowly realized that we were meant for each other. Robin frequently reminds me that one particular night we visited Jeff Rubys in Louisville and that night he thought to himself "this girl is going to be my wife one day". We started officially dating July 20, 2018 and the rest is history.

Our friend Kelsea texted us inviting us to join her and husband, Chris on a private tour she won at Henry Clay Estates. During the conversation about this with Robin, I was completely convinced he didn't want to go, because "who wants to tour an old house". When in reality, they were planning the biggest surprise of our lives. Kelsea and Robin planned for Juneberry to photograph the entire proposal, visited the site to practice "the knee", planned outfits, a secret party with all our family and friends, canceled MY plans without me knowing, and coordinated family surprising me from 1000 miles away. When we arrived at Henry Clay Estates, Robin continued to play it off like a champ. When we reached the center of the gardens, he turned to me and says "So we are really here because I have a surprise for you". At this time, I see the photographers sneak out and everything gets real teary. We finished the proposal with our very first photography session to capture every second, emotion, and all the love. This day was an absolute dream and we are so thankful for everyone who had any part!
