What is the timing of events?

Our ceremony will begin at 4:30pm with a cocktail hour from 5:00pm - 6:00pm, followed by the reception.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors in the Inn's garden, weather permitting, with reception to follow indoors. All events will take place at the Copper Beech Inn in Ivoryton.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

From New York, New Haven and West: Interstate 95 North to Connecticut Exit 69. Route 9 North to Exit 3 Essex & Ivoryton. Left at end of exit ramp. Continue straight for about 2½ miles. Inn is on your left at 46 Main Street. From New York City, about 100 miles and two hours driving time. From Hartford, Springfield and North: Interstate 91 South or Interstate 84 West to Hartford. From Hartford take Interstate 91 South to Route 9. Then take Route 9 South to Exit 4 Right turn at exit ramp. Go about ½ mile to first traffic light. Turn right onto Main Street. Continue straight for about 1 mile. Inn is on your left at 46 Main Street. From Hartford, about 40 Miles and 45-minutes driving time. From Boston, Providence and East: Interstate 95 South to Connecticut Exit 69. Route 9 North to Exit 3 Essex & Ivoryton. Left at end of exit ramp. Continue straight for about 2½ miles. Inn is on your left at 46 Main Street. From Boston, about 120 miles and two hours driving time.
