We met in the modern classic way in September 2022, online dating. After a few exchanges we had our first date at a distillery in Grandview Heights, OH. It wasn’t long before we discovered we had a lot in common. We bonded over travel, family, and our careers in medicine. Even though life in healthcare keeps us busy, we have always felt relief in being with each other at the end of the day talking or watching a TV show together. This past year has been full of milestones, including moving to the Akron area to be closer to Nate’s son, starting new jobs, and buying our first home together. In August, Nate proposed just before Caitlin’s family vacation in Michigan, and without hesitation, Caitlin said “yes.” We can’t wait to celebrate with you as we take this next leap together.
