FAQs

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your littles, but we kindly ask that you leave them at home for this adult only event please! If your children need to travel with you, please let us know and we can help you coordinate childcare.

Question

What is the preferred wedding attire?

Answer

Black-tie optional. The fancier, the better! We are excited to get all dressed up with our family and friends! Tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required. A Suit and Tie is suitable, as well. Ladies, the Merrimon-Wynne lawn is turf so no need to worry about your heels sinking! We will be inside the main house or in the Carriage House for majority of the evening's celebrations.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

With grateful hearts and a full home, we don't want anyone to feel obligated to gift us anything - your presence is gift enough. But if you'd like to celebrate with something more, you can find the link to our Registry website on this page.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course. Please indicate any dietary restrictions on your RSVP. We plan to have dinner options to accommodate any restrictions.

Question

Are cellphones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We just ask that you please keep your phones on silent mode, be mindful of others by avoiding standing in the aisle or blocking anyone's view, and be present during this special and sacred time.
