Biltmore Forest Country Club Etiquette

Answer

Biltmore Forest Country Club does not allow jeans or flip flops. Pick-up trucks require valet, which will be provided. Phone calls are not permitted on club property outside of the locker room. Texting is permitted.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the welcome party is dressy casual. Men may wear a coat, no tie. The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie. Women may wear a floor length gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

In Asheville, NC in early October, high temperatures typically range from 63°F to 71°F and low temperatures typically range from 41°F to 52°F. We recommend bringing layers for the evenings and checking the weather report closer to the date.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided on Saturday from both the Flat Iron Hotel and DoubleTree hotel to the wedding reception. Details below. Return transportation to both hotels will be provided. Transportation from the DoubleTree will be provided on Saturday, Oct 4th: First departure at 4:00pm Final departure at 4:30pm Ceremony at 5:00pm Transportation from the Flat Iron will be provided on Saturday, Oct 4th: Departure at 4:15pm Ceremony at 5:00pm

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Answer

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar for cocktail hour.

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, dinner will be served station-style following cocktail hour.
