We first crossed paths back in middle school but it wasn’t until high school that we really connected, all thanks to a shared love of Dungeons & Dragons. Between character sheets and campaign stories, our friendship grew. We bonded over Magic The Gathering, inside jokes, and long conversations that made time fly. What started as a game turned into something magical, and now we’re adventuring through life together- for good!

We got engaged in 2023 in Puerto Rico during our shared birthday weekend, and it was nothing short of memorable. After a hike through the mangroves (and forgetting to reapply sunscreen), we found ourselves on a secluded beach as the sun was setting. I was sunburnt to absolute hell and just trying to cool off in the sand when Marlow started monologuing in my ear. I was crabby and only half-listening (sorry, babe) until I finally turned to look at him… and there he was, down on one knee. I was completely shocked. It was the easiest “yes” I’ve ever said. Though next time, we’re packing SPF 50.
