We met in high school, Freshman year. I remember Kurkland walked into my biology class, and I was practically breathless. That night I went home and told my mom that there was this REALLY cute cowboy in my class! That summer, I wished Kurkland a happy early birthday, and we talked non-stop from then on. On August 24, 2014, Kurkland asked me to be his girlfriend. And oh boy, I was so excited to tell everyone! Kurkland quickly became my best friend, and the person I knew I could confide in. Very early on in our relationship, we knew we were serious about each other. Our friends thought we were silly, and that we would just be another high school relationship. Little did they know, we were not only high school sweet hearts, but soulmates. Fast forward to the present, Kurkland and I are happily engaged. I knew from the very beginning, that he was someone special. Especially when I realized how much my family loves him too! Kurkland makes sure that I know just how much he loves me, every day. He is going to make a great husband, and hopefully one day a wonderful father. I love you Kurkland Legrant, with all of my heart.
We met in high school. I was a very shy guy. The move from South Carolina to Texas was a big change in lifestyle. Although, I found my place with a girl in biology class who came up to me, and spoke in the sweetest voice any boy could ever hear. I instantly fell in love. We began dating later that year, and my life couldn't have made a better turn around. We've been together for almost 5 years now and I made the decision to spend the rest of my life with my one true love. I cannot wait to marry my angel and spend an eternity with her. She will always be my world and soon part of the family.
Kurkland's sister, Kandler, and her family came down to Texas to visit from South Carolina. Kandler brought her husband, Jeremy, and their two boys, Jonas and Dawson. We were all at the aquarium having a blast. As we walked through this beautiful archway, above us were sharks and all sorts of sea life. Kurkland said my name, and I looked back... he was down on one knee!! My heart was racing. Finally, the moment I had been praying for since I was a little girl. The day my future husband would propose. So, of course I said yes! I don't think I have ever smiled as big as I did that day. (Seriously, my cheeks were aching because I couldn't wipe the smile off my face, haha) God truly has blessed me with such an amazing man, whom is soon to be my husband. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
