Caitlin & Kevin

Wedding Party

Megan Walthers

Maid of Honor

Megan my sister was the easiest decision of all for my Maid of Honor. Although Meg is my sister the choice was never by default. Meg has been my built in best friend since 2000 and we've been basically attached at the hip ever since. And I mean that quite literally since we went to elementary, middle, high school, AND college together. Most people might find that crazy, but I am forever grateful to have my built in bestie with me through both of our greatest accomplishments and memories. Since we do everything together the day definitely would not be complete with out her by my side and of course being bossed around by big sis (;

Josh Andelora

Best Man

Josh and I met in 7th grade and little did I know at the time, but he would become one of the biggest blessings in my life. We soon became best friends and stayed close until this day. Few weeks go by without a Call of Duty session and when I’m home Josh is always there for me waiting with a glass of whiskey and a great time! Josh and I have had so many legendary times in downtown Tucson and in Colorado Springs. I also wouldn’t have survived either Spanish or Calculus without him. Josh has always been there for me through thick and thin and I can’t wait for him to be by my side as Best Man!

Morgan Thomas

Bridesmaid

Morgan has been my best friend since freshman year of college. We were random roommates, but quickly realized we were more like sisters. Morgan of course thought I was insane when she heard I was dating someone that was 1000's of miles away and we'd never met in person. However, much to her distain, when she met Kevin, she actually instantly hit off with him, mostly because he responds to her texts unlike me. All jokes aside, I am so grateful that my bestie and future husband get along so well. We’ve made some incredible memories over the last 7 years, whether we’re busting missions to go to concerts, or just having our weekly FaceTime calls to beat the long distance friendship, our wedding wouldn’t be complete with out her.

Quinton Tigges

Best Man

Q and I met in Kindergarten and shortly after we became best friends. I probably spent at least half my childhood with Q playing video games, airsoft, or football. He has always been there for me pushing me to be a better man in every aspect of my life. One event that dramatically changed both of our lives, were the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. We were sitting at the same table in 1st grade when the attacks occurred, which motivated both of us later on to join the military. Q and I would both go on to deploy to Afghanistan, or the skies above it in my case, and finish the war that started 20 years prior. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Q and I can’t wait for him to be by my side as Best Man!

Jazmyn Gavato

Bridesmaid

Jazmyn was the miracle I never knew I needed. Drowning in a sea of English Ed. Majors, she saved my life one day in Young Adult Lit class. With a work ethic (or lack there of) that matched mine, she instantly became my other half. All jokes aside, Jaz and I have made incredible memories together. Whether we were last minute writing our garbage British Literature essays at coffee shops in Phoenix, busting missions to purchase puppies and hide them in dorms, or of course taking the week off our last semester on the greatest Disney World trip EVER, there is no one else who'd be down for it all. Jaz is the greatest best friend, and it was an absolute honor to be by her side for her wedding, and I can’t wait to have her next to me for mine.

Dennis Hull

Groomsman

Dennis and I met during our Junior Year at the Air Force Academy and have been friends ever since. Dennis has the biggest heart and greatest will to adventure of anyone I’ve ever met. After college Dennis, Niko, and I took a trip to Europe for a month. No other person but Dennis could plan a trip covering 8 countries and a different city every day! Niko and I would not have survived on our own and would've probably quit half way through without Dennis. We averaged nearly 10 miles of walking every day because Dennis insisted on seeing every site, restaurant, museum, and landmark in every major city in Western Europe. I wouldn't have thought such an epic adventure would've been as exhausting as it was, and we even did it on a budget! I can’t wait to have Dennis by my side as a Groomsman.

Serana Hubert

Bridesmaid

Serana, my soul sister and almost a Taurus Twin (smh she HAD to be a Gemini lol). With the help of different random roommate combos, we managed to meet and hit it off instantly. Serana is gem of human, who is also an educator like myself. We braved our final Senior semester together, as the only 2 left in Phoenix to complete our student teaching. With many late night dinners for teaching & crazy roommate vent sessions we managed to survive that battle. We both are now currently teaching 6th grade, and it is very unclear if we will survive this one, so fingers crossed. The first time Serana met Kev, was the day we got engaged and luckily she approved of him because I could not imagine doing this day without her by my side.

Rhett Sutherland

Groomsman

Rhett and I met Freshman Year of High School while playing on the football team. Rhett and I became close friends the rest of high school and have continued to be great friends. He saved me many times on the football field and during numerous Call of Duty games! Rhett has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I’ve ever met and has always been there for me no matter what. We always get together when I come home and have a great time whether we are watching football or playing video games. I can’t wait for him to be by my side as a Groomsman.

Alyssa Ventress

Bridesmaid

Alyssa has been my second little sister since the day she and my own sister became besties in kindergarten. Alyssa and I spent countless hours together whether we were at school, at dance, having our weekly Wednesday Carpools, or Saturday nights when I’d “babysit.” Alyssa and I have celebrated all our greatest life’s accomplishments together. Including spending all the money we had on churros at Disneyland unsupervised with our sibs. It wouldn’t be the same if she wasn’t with me on my happiest day, to share more laughs and make more sweet memories.

Niko Ouano

Groomsman

Niko and I met on our first day of college at the Air Force Academy during Basic Training. Niko was lauded by our Cadre members for his ability to eat at perfect attention, memorize motivational quotes, and make a perfect bed. Let’s just say these tasks didn’t come as naturally to me, but luckily Niko was always there to help me survive the struggle bus that was Freshman year. We have been great friends ever since that first day of college and continued on to be roommates/classmates during Pilot Training and deployed together to the Middle East this past year. I can’t wait to have him by my side as a Groomsman.

Madi Thomas

Bridesmaid

I love to steal friends and also sisters. Madi was basically a package deal when Morgan became my best friend freshman year. But even though Madi is Morgan’s twin, I know she’d be my best friend in any lifetime. Madi for starters is a teacher like myself, which of course takes a special kind of psycho, so we automatically have that in common. But outside of that Madi and I also share the same absurd sense of humor. There is no other person I would sit in the car watching Casey Frey videos, with tears literally streaming down our faces. My wedding day full of happy tears wouldn’t be the same if I didn’t have her there to make me scream laugh and cry too.

Daniel Kohn

Groomsman

Daniel and I met my Sophomore Year at the Air Force Academy, and have been close ever since. He started dating KateLyn, who would become his future wife, that year who was one of my close friends. We spent a lot of time together playing video games, hiking mountains, and adventuring around Colorado. My favorite memory with him, was our Water Survival PE class. Jumping off the 10 foot meter diving board for water survival was not my forte. Because yes believe it or not I am afraid of heights. After being screamed at for about 17 mins by the instructor, Daniel and KateLyn literally talked me off the ledge and I made the jump saving me from failing the class. Daniel unfortunately will not physically be by my side, due to his deployment this summer. However I know he would be if he could.

Kimberly Pina

Bridesmaid

What do you know? Another sister. Kim and My sister by chance were roommates their freshman year at GCU when I was a senior. Wanting to of course make sure my sister and her roomies were taken care, I spent a lot of time with them. Among our MANY trips to Starbucks, Kim mentioned her brother, and well of course the rest is history. But of course I'm so incredibly blessed that Kim was my friend first which makes choosing her as bridesmaid so easy. I have so many great memories with Kim from Disneyland to dancing all night in Scottsdale. Becoming family has been so effortless and fun, having her as a new sister is so exciting!

KateLyn Kohn

Groomswoman

KateLyn and I also met on our first day of college at the Air Force Academy during Basic Training. She was favored by our Cadre for her ability to stand at perfect attention and march. Let’s just say that these were two more skills I lacked during my struggle bus of a freshman year. Thankfully KateLyn helped me with this and a billion more things through our four years at the Air Force Academy. I definitely would not have made it this far without her. KateLyn is one of my best friends and her husband is also one of my Groomsmen. Unfortunately, her husband Daniel will not be able to attend since he will be deployed defending our great nation. KateLyn has graciously offered to stand by my side in place of her husband. I can’t wait to have KateLyn by my side as a Groomswomen.

Emily Shields

Bridesmaid

Em became our roommate Jr. year and it was honestly the greatest. Some of my favorite memories with Em are listening to her and Morg's insane nursing stories and absolutely scream laughing til all hours of the night. Em and I always got along but we really got close during our Sr. semester. Both our roommates moved out and we were thrilled to finally have our own bathrooms. But much to our dismay GCU had other plans. They gave us a new roomie 1/2 way through the semester, and we all know if you get kicked out of the room, you are usually the problem. But of course we made it through the mess of a roommate, her final semester of nursing clinicals, and my first year of teaching, barely, but we did it. The day would not be complete without her to help me laugh through the stress!

Kyle McLain

Groomsman

Kyle and I met more recently in the last few years, but what an impact he’s made on my life. Kyle is probably one of the most genuine and pure people you could ever meet. He is absolutely selfless and would do anything for his friends. He was a huge part of the success of my engagement to Cait and went out of his way to set up for the surprise and also fought off several angry Califorians who were upset to share a public beach with us. I probably had my best Disneyland ride of my life with him as we flew the Millennium Falcon at light speed through the clutches of the Empire on the most daring Smuggler’s Run you’ve ever seen. I will be honored for Kyle to stand at my side as a Groomsman!
