FAQs

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by 11/1/24 at the latest. You're highly encouraged to RSVP early if you already know if you can attend or not!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

All RSVPs will be collected online, using this website! Click the RSVP tab to get started! (If the RSVP tab isn't showing yet, that means we haven't made it public yet - give us some time and we'll get it working!)

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 3:30pm. We kindly ask that all guests are seated by 3:15 to ensure a great start to the evening. Please arrive with enough time to ensure you can use the bathroom if needed and walk to the ceremony location (ceremony site is a few minutes walk from the inn).

Question

Is there anything I need to know about the venue?

Answer

We want you to know that the driveway to the inn is up a steep hill, if you have a choice between cars it would be best to travel with 4-Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive. If you're concerned about this, let us know and we can find an alternative location for you to park and have someone ferry you to the inn. The ceremony site is a short walk away from the inn, and also up a hill. There will be a golf cart and vehicles if you require assistance getting to the ceremony location. There are no bathrooms located at the ceremony site; please use the bathroom in the inn before walking to the ceremony site. We suggest wearing shoes that are easy to walk in - it might be difficult in heels in the winter!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is kindly requested of guests. We suggest wearing a suit or dress shirt with tie or dress or dressy separates. It may be a little chilly at the ceremony site (though it is indoors), so bring a jacket or sweater if you need!

Question

Are there colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

We ask that guests avoid colors traditionally worn by brides, such as whites/creams/ivories, as well as black dresses.

Question

Can I bring a date/guest?

Answer

Unfortunately there is a limit on the guests we can invite and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. If you have been allowed a plus one, we have listed "and guest" on your invitation and in the RSVP profile online. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your children but have chosen to only include children in our immediate families in the ceremony.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely!

Question

Are you changing your last names?

Answer

Nope! We both have chosen to keep our own last names.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We're getting married in Vermont in winter, so expect snow! We're hoping for reasonable weather conditions, but of course we cannot predict exactly what will happen. We suggest you plan to arrive the night before if you're concerned about weather.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

The inn has a limited number of rooms; if you received a note in your save the date, there is a room reserved for you in the inn. If you did not receive a note but would like to stay in the inn, please contact Caitlin or Kayleigh and we will place you on a waitlist. If you have a room reserved for you but would prefer to stay elsewhere, please let us know as well! Please note: Rooms at the inn have a two-night minimum stay with a full country breakfast on Saturday morning and a breakfast buffet on Sunday morning included. Guests staying elsewhere are welcome to join for breakfasts at $20 per person for Saturday's sit-down breakfast and $26 per person for Sunday's breakfast buffet.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there's plenty of parking!

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please let us know in your RSVP! The catering staff at the inn is able to accommodate most dietary restrictions.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and would prefer if you were present in the moment.

Question

What are our transportation options if we aren't staying at the inn?

Answer

We suggest using a taxi service (we'll have that information here for you soon!). If something goes wrong or you're not able to use a taxi for whatever reason, we'll have sober people around who can help you get where you're going!

Question

I have more questions!

Answer

Please contact Caitlin or Kayleigh and we'll answer anything you want to know!
