Björklunden vid Sjön
Our wedding weekend will take place at Björklunden vid Sjön, Swedish for "Birch Grove at the Lake". Björklunden is a 441-acre estate on the Lake Michigan shore just south of Baileys Harbor in Door County, Wisconsin, owned by Lawrence University (Cait's alma mater). We have reserved Björklunden vid Sjön for the entire weekend, from 5 p.m. on Friday, July 26th, through 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 28th. The rooms at Björklunden cost $85 per night. Each room has its own bathroom and comes with linens and towels. For those staying at Björklunden, we encourage you to explore the beautiful hiking trails on the property and feel free to come and go as you like during the weekend. If you're flying, note that the nearest commercial airport is Austin Straubel International Airport (Green Bay), which offers daily service with American, Delta, and United airlines. Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport serves many airlines, and the Dane County Regional Airport (Madison) serves American, Delta, Frontier, Sun Country, and United. If you're driving from Madison, follow US-151 North to WI-26 North. Get on I-41 North towards Green Bay. Take exit 185 from I-43 South. Follow Hwy 57 to Bailey's Harbor. If you're driving from Chicago, take I-94 to Milwaukee, then I-43 towards Green Bay. Follow I-43 North, then Hwy 57 North to Door County. Driving distances to Björklunden: - Green Bay: 1 hour 20 minutes - Madison: 3 hours 30 minutes - Milwaukee: 3 hours - Chicago: 4 hours 15 minutes
