Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is black tie optional, color encouraged. We are hosting a formal event, but love color for a June celebration! We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the ceremony portion, as the ceremony is walking distance from the Aertson Hotel.

Tell me more about the menu options!

Answer

There are three options for dinner. They are as follows: Grilled Bistro Steak, Garlic and Herb Smashed Red Potatoes, Pan Roasted Asparagus, Demi-glace Herb Brined Airline Chicken Breast, Charred Cauliflower Mash, Blistered Haricot Verts, Natural Jus & Herbs (Gluten Free/Dairy Free) Seasonal Vegetable Paella, Walnut Pesto, Red Pepper Rouille (Vegan/Gluten Free) We have tried all of these meals and hope you will be as pleased with them as we are! Question

Do we need to rent a car to get from the Nashville airport to the hotel?

Answer

NO! Please consider taking an Uber, Lyft or taxi. The hotel only offers valet parking at $39 per night. Nashville is a very walkable city and our wedding is in Midtown Nashville. The infamous stretch of Broadway is located about 1.5 miles from the hotel. It is walkable on a beautiful day and an inexpensive Uber/Lyft ride.

If we want to bring our children with us to Nashville, will you be able to help find childcare?

Answer

As a former teacher in the Nashville area, Caitlin has many friends who love children! We are happy to help you find a sitter for the wedding evening. Please just ask!

Question

Why do you need my email address on my RSVP?

Answer

Despite 2.5 years of planning, things outside of our control happen! Weather, food shortages, worldwide pandemics, etc. may impact our planning. In order to be best prepared, we are collecting email addresses in case we need to get a hold of you before the wedding day. We appreciate the option to be in contact, should it be necessary, especially since so many of you are traveling from out of town for our special day.
