In 2016, Caitlin and Greg were both randomly on vacation in Miami when they matched on Bumble. They decided to meet for drinks at a bar that Greg carefully chose to ensure he could watch a Patriots' playoff game. They lost. The rest of the day consisted of bar hopping and they ended up at Señor Frog's. Greg knew Caitlin was special when she went along with his jokes about the mascot, señor frog, whose face was plastered all over the restaurant. What really won him over though, was when Caitlin immediately signed up for karaoke and sang her favorite song - Blank Space by Taylor Swift. They stayed in touch after Miami and made plans to meet up again. A few weeks later, they had their first official date at Druthers in Albany. After months of long-distance dating, Caitlin packed up her things and moved to Boston. Caitlin and Greg got their own apartment together near Harvard Square in Cambridge, and shortly after that they got their dog, Meeko! Since day one, Meeko has been an essential part of their little family. He was very well known in their neighborhood in Cambridge, even people who were strangers to Caitlin and Greg would recognize Meeko on walks, which is how he got his nickname as "the mayor." Greg proposed to Caitlin on August 31st, 2019 during a picnic in the park across the street from their apartment, overlooking the harbor and the Boston skyline in the Charlestown Navy Yard. They are getting married in Saratoga Springs, NY and cannot wait to celebrate with all of their closest friends + families!
