FAQs

Question

Aren't you already married?

Answer

Sure are! We legally got married in May 2025 with just immediate family. Think of this as the party we didn't throw the first time.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Let us know by December 3rd so we can ensure enough food for everyone. The sooner you can RSVP, the better! If you know your plans early, we’d love to hear from you right away.

Question

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

The Wellborn opens at 5:00 pm, so you’re welcome to arrive as early as you'd like to enjoy the space! The private reception (where we'll be covering your food and drinks) will begin upstairs at 7:00 pm. Please be sure to arrive on time to make the most of our time together!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is suggested, but don’t overthink it. If you love it, we’ll love it!

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be serving tapas from the Wellborn, which will include: grilled shrimp skewers (GF), eggplant & garbanzo dip (V, GF), brie grilled cheese, crispy brussels (VG, GF), piri piri chicken, and basque cheesecake bites.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus-one, then absolutely, please feel free to bring a date. If you’re unsure, just reach out to us, and we’ll clarify!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block reserved at Aloft Downtown Orlando, which is about a 10 minute walk from Wellborn. You can reserve discounted rooms through the link in the Travel section. Be sure to book by December 4th for the discounted rate!

Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

While there is parking available, it’s a bit limited—so if you’re able, we definitely recommend using a ride share to keep things easy. If you’re driving, here’s what to know: You’re welcome to park in any spots marked for Wellborn guests or along Lucerne Street in front of the hotel. Just a heads-up: please avoid double parking or using the roundabout—towing is strictly enforced. There’s also a parking garage on Delany Street that’s open after 5 PM Tuesday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. One important note: the lot directly behind The Wellborn is off-limits, and cars parked there will be towed. We’d hate for that to happen!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered at Crate and Barrel, Williams Sonoma, Bloomingdale’s and through Zola. While gifts aren’t expected, they are always appreciated if you’d like to celebrate with us in that way!
