We met at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) in 2019. One night after a party at the Alpha House, Errol spotted a hoop earring on the floor and, in an attempt to talk to me, asked if it was mine. (It wasn’t—I don’t even wear hoops!) But his plan worked, and after a few minutes of talking, I gave him my number. A few weeks later, we went on our first date—grabbing dinner at Zaxby’s and attempting to catch a movie, but we were just a little too late. The very next week, we celebrated Errol’s birthday at ACES (iykyk), where we spent the whole night laughing, talking, and realizing there was something special between us.
