We Eloped!

We eloped in Western North Carolina on March 15th, 2021. It was a gorgeous evening overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our intimate wedding party was comprised of our wonderful Rabbi, Wolff Alterman, and the crew from ElopeOutdoors. We stood under a simple, yet elegant Chuppah and exchanged our vows (which we wrote ourselves) as the sun set over a scenic mountain vista. Our ceremony included some of the traditional Jewish Wedding Customs, a few cups of wine, and of course breaking the glass:) Afterwards, we cried and laughed and danced and enjoyed Champagne and a delicious cake, all whilst the ElopeOutdoors crew captured our special moments on camera and video. Although we missed having our friends and family present, you were all there with us in spirit and we felt your love. We are excited to share with you all some of the pictures from our Wedding. We met in 2013 while working together on the night shift in the Palmetto Health Baptist Emergency Department. We dated briefly and had a blast, then life happened and David moved to Colorado. We kept in touch and remained good friends for the next 4 years. We both relocated back to Columbia in 2017 and picked our relationship right back up, as if no time had passed. We have always felt a sense of ease with each other, and now know that we had a mutual feeling that the other was the one the got away. Here we are 4 years later- in love, grateful that we found our way back to each other, and looking forward to this next exciting chapter in our lives!
