FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible! We ask that all guests RSVP by May 15, 2026 to ensure that our vendors and venue can accommodate you.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to look and feel your best! Suit and Tie for men. Elegant Dress for women.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

All guests are asked to find their own transportation to and from the ceremony at St. Mary's Church. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express there will be a shuttle provided to and from the reception at The Lake House. Stay tuned for more updates on timing. If you are staying elsewhere, you will be responsible for getting to and from the venue. Please keep this in mind when celebrating with us!

Question

What do I need to know before arriving?

Answer

Our ceremony is a Catholic Mass that will take place at St. Mary's Church on Saturday July 18, 2026. Parking is available behind the church, located off of Gibson St. We ask that you use the front main entrance. Please plan to arrive by 1:30pm as the ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm.

Question

Do the church and venue have parking?

Answer

Yes - parking is available at both the church and reception venue.

Question

What should I do in-between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The wedding mass will likely end around 3:00pm. During the 2 hour gap between the ceremony and start of the cocktail hour guests can relax or freshen up at their hotel. If you are in the mood to start celebrating early, there are many great restaurants in walking distance from both the church and reception venue to grab a light bite or a drink. Restaurant Recommendations: Eddie O'Brien's Grille & Pub (across the street from the church) Murphy's Law Irish Pub (across the street from the Lake House Canandaigua)

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate any additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

I have a food allergy, what can I eat at the reception?

Answer

Please reach out to Caitlin or Danny directly when you RSVP and we will happily confirm with the chef what is safe for you to eat! We want all guests to be able to enjoy a delicious meal.
