Yes! We encourage any guests who want to participate in this longstanding tradition to bring a baked treat. Because all guests will be traveling from out of town, there are two options to deliver your cookies to the reception: • Bring your cookies to the welcome party on Friday night. Our caterer will have a drop off station and will collect them to display on Saturday. • The week of the wedding, mail your cookies to the catering office. Nooga Shuttles will be offering complimentary transportation to and from the wedding venue on Saturday. This will allow all guests a safe and reliable round trip ride. Two motor coach buses will be picking guests up at the Moxy promptly at 2:30P. These same buses will also be picking guests up at the Pavilion promptly at 10P to take guests back to the Moxy (where the party will continue!). The buses are optional, of course, and ample parking is available at the Pavilion for those who want to drive. Uber is also available from Chattanooga. Please be aware that Uber is not encouraged or reliable to take from the venue back to Chattanooga.
Formal cocktail attire is encouraged, but most importantly, our priority is your attendance to celebrate our big day. However, your best dancing shoes are required!
Most of the events of the weekend will have an outdoor component, so please monitor the weather and dress accordingly. The average high temperature is 60 degrees this time of year. • Weather permitting, the welcome reception and brunch will be held outdoors. We will be hosting guests on a large private patio with heaters and covered indoor/outdoor space. • Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will also be held outdoors. The reception will be indoors, in a well ventilated area with high ceilings and the ability to open industrial garage doors for additional airflow.
