Caitlin and Dallin met at the Sandpiper restaurant in Pocatello Idaho. Caitlin was working there as a waitress while in college. Dallin visited the restaurant in August of 2018 with a few of his friends. He noticed Caitlin serving other tables, and built up the courage to go and talk to her. He asked for her number and Caitlin of course gave it to him. They then went on their first date together, and have been inseparable since.

When Dallin proposed he spared nothing. He took Caitlin on a beautiful lunch date to a restaurant on Malibu Beach. He called ahead and made sure the staff knew he was proposing to the love of his life. He requested a table with an ocean view and thats just what they got. After lunch they headed to the beach for a romantic stroll along the water. Dallin kept hinting to Caitlin that they should walk over by the cliffs to watch the cliff divers. Not knowing what elaborate plan Dallin had, she agreed and they headed over. As they got closer Caitlin noticed dozens of fresh roses scattered on the beach and pictures of her and Dallin set up alongside. One of the pictures had a hand written note from Dallin that read “Will you...”. When she turned around Dallin was on one knee and gave her a beautiful speech (that we will let them cherish as their own), and asked her to spend her life with him. She without a question said yes, and both teary eyed embraced each other and shared a kiss. At this point Caitlin realized Dallin had multiple friends in different locations taking pictures and recording the special moment. They now have photos and videos to look back and remember that day.
