Dating back to 1988, Julie was one of the first to welcome Caitlin to the world. From fort building to farmer's markets Caitlin did everything her big sister Julie did. No matter the distance from Idaho to Ecuador, from Tacoma to Tucson these two sisters found a way to see each other and share a bite. Caitlin even followed her sister down the aisle a year later. Caitlin is honored to have Julie by her side as her matron of honor on her big day! Julie recently moved to Germany with her husband and are welcoming Caitlin's nephew, Lil' Hill to the family soon.
Andrew Cruz

Andy was blessed with an amazing younger brother 28 years ago. Forever the first controller, the top screen on video games, the Mario to Chris's Luigi, Andy has always been there to teach his younger brother the ropes. No longer the bickering siblings of the past, legend has it Andy and Chris actually get along pretty well now, and the two brothers never miss a chance to watch Die Hard or Lethal Weapon together.

Caitlin and Marissa's friendship started with the peace offering of fish sticks, tater tots, and campfire girls back in 1999. Although they have been friends for almost 20 years, whenever they see each other they pick up right where they left off. Forever the adult, Marissa would roll her eyes at Caitlin's bad jokes before breaking out into laughter herself. Whenever they get together, it consists of giggles, long talks, and eating as much cookie dough as they can. Marissa lives in Carlton, OR with her husband Matt and their pup.

Chris and Sam met on the soccer field about 16 years ago. Chris thought Sam was a dork, Chris quickly realized this was true, but Sam was also a fantastic athlete and friend. They lived together for one year in college in what can only be described as a shot for shot remake of The Odd Couple. Sam currently lives in Seattle, WA with his wife Ashley and their three children: Blossom, Bam-Bam, and the Quiet Baby.
Alex Fairfortune

Adventure awaits best sums up Alex and Caitlin's friendship. They met back in 2005 in AP Bio class over a shared microscope and they have been inseparable since. They have shared many adventures together: flying across the world together to Japan, trekking across the Andes in Ecuador. There is never a dull moment when these two reunite. They weathered grad school and law school together despite being on two rival campuses. Alex currently lives in Olympia, WA with her lovely wife Tess and their pup.

Chris met Ryan on a chance encounter, an ill-fated trip to Sushi Garden back in 2012. Chris quickly learned that Ryan was a loyal friend and avid board game enthusiast. Never one to back down from a challenge, Ryan has pushed Chris to open up to new, terrifying experiences and foods. Together these two have attended Comic-Cons, cheered on local teams at sporting events, and endured pleasant cross-country road-trips despite their ridiculous heights. Ryan currently lives in Austin, TX where he plans to trick Chris and Caitlin into moving.
Danielle Jackson

Danielle is quite possibly the biggest goofball Caitlin knows, bringing the life of the party anywhere she goes. Caitlin met Danielle when she was 9 years old and quickly adopted her as the little sister she never had. Through the years, Danielle and Caitlin have had countless adventures from blueberry picking to camping trips. Danielle recently finished the Pacific Crest Trail, becoming the badass woman she is today. After finishing her time in the army, Dani is going back to school to get her degree in fisheries and wildlife so she can make being outdoors her career for life. And like Caitlin, now she’s a fellow beaver believer! Go Beavs!

Danielle was blessed with a second brother in 1989, she may say she was cursed. Danielle lied and tricked her brothers as often as she could, even threatening to call Santa to make the two behave. She has entertained Chris with trips to water-parks, the Summer Jam hip-hop concert, and to see Star Wars in Concert. Danielle has gotten cooler with age and is probably the smartest person Chris knows. She lives with her husband Kevin and their two sons, Thing 1 and Thing 2.
Serra Raquel Dittel-Payne

Caitlin and Serra Raquel became instant friends in the trumpet section of the jazz band back in middle school. They quickly bonded over their love for music, the trumpet, and being self-proclaimed band nerds. Their friendship grew over countless band rehearsals and performances. Over the years, Serra Raquel and Caitlin remain close after they both attended Oregon State, moved to the Southwest often debating what Mexican food is best, Sonoran vs. New Mexican. Serra Raquel lives in Santa Fe, NM with her two pups, Moose and Ranger.
Joshua John

Josh and Chris met during high school and have been rough twins ever since. They maintained their strong bonds throughout their college careers while working in Old Main at the University of Arizona together. Josh and Chris love to watch Marvel superhero movies together, eat the finest sushi delicacies available in Tucson, and complain about kids today and their lack of respect for authority.
Melisa Lopez

Melisa and Caitlin bonded when they both discovered the other was just as much as a procrastinator as the other. Countless library dates, movie nights, and Oregon State football games later, their friendship is as strong as ever! Both claim the other was the reason they got through grad school. Both working in Student Affairs, Melisa and Caitlin are passionate about spending as much time together as they can at professional conferences and taking weekend trips to see each other. Melisa works at San Diego State University and advocates for as many students as she can!
Sebastian Maldonado

Sebastian moved out to Arizona for college in the mid-2000s, and grew from just a typical cousin to a super-cousin. Despite the fact that Sebastian graduated from Arizona State, the two share an amicable rivalry often accentuated by holiday poker tournaments. Sebastian currently lives in Phoenix, he will tell you it's "Scottsdale or something" but trust me, it's all basically Phoenix.
Kristopher Little

Kristopher joked, "I'm gonna officiate that wedding" when Caitlin first started talking about Chris. Little did he know, this would come true. Caitlin and Kristopher met as they started as Community Directors together at the University of Arizona in 2015. They bonded quickly as they learned to adapt (and complain) about the desert climate, the UA, and the students they worked with. They have traveled internationally together all the way to Quebec, Canada eating as much poutine as they could, seeing the sites, and pretending to speak french. Kristopher recently took a job in NYC working at Fordham University in Manhattan.
