FAQs

Question

Are the reception and the sealing/wedding dinner on the same day?

Answer

No, the reception will be held the night before the sealing/wedding dinner. June 12th - Reception at The Larsen Residence (5421 W 11310 N, Highland, UT 84003) from 6pm to 9pm, open house June 13th - Sealing in the Taylorsville Temple at 4pm, followed by the Wedding Dinner at The Carr Residence (9172 Granville Circle, Sandy, UT 84093) from 6pm to 10pm.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding dinner?

Answer

The vibe is garden party! We’d love to see guests in soft, romantic colors like pinks, peaches, soft yellows, dusty blues, and floral patterns. Think dressy, summery, and comfortable for an evening celebration.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Please bring your kids to the reception on June 12th — everyone is invited! Seating is limited at the wedding dinner on the 13th, so unless your children are specifically listed on the RSVP, we kindly ask that you hire a sitter and enjoy a night out with us. If you have an infant you are welcome to bring them.

Question

I’m not planning on attending the sealing. Should I still come to the temple?

Answer

We would LOVE for you to be there as we exit the temple after our sealing if you’re able! That’s where we’ll take the majority of our photos with guests, and we’d be so happy to celebrate that moment with you.

Question

What time should I arrive at the temple?

Answer

If you’re planning to attend the sealing, please arrive no later than 3:30 PM. If you won’t be attending the sealing but would still like to join us for the temple exit, we recommend arriving by 4:30 PM.

Question

Will there be a gap between the sealing and the wedding dinner?

Answer

Nope! After the temple, feel free to head directly to the Carr Residence for the wedding dinner.

Question

Can I come late or leave early to the wedding dinner?

Answer

If you plan to attend the wedding dinner, we kindly ask that you arrive on time. We completely understand if some guests need to leave early, but we have a whole evening of fun planned and have a feeling you’ll want to stay for all of it!

Question

Where should I park for the wedding dinner?

Answer

If possible, please park along Falcon Way or the neighboring cul-de-sacs to help reserve parking in Granville Circle for guests who may need additional assistance. Please do not park in or block the driveway. Carpooling is strongly encouraged! If you're having trouble finding a place to park, there is a church with a parking lot on 2180 Meadowlark Way, Sandy, UT 84093 that is about a 10 minute walk from the Carr Residence.
