Question

What accommodations are near by?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is not much to do nor any hotels nearby because our venue is in a rural area. Although, there are airbnbs within the town. The closest hotels would be Hampton Inn Debary/Deltona, or Lake Mary which is roughly 30 minutes away from our venue. Sanford has a nice airbnb called Higgins House Bed and Breakfast as well. The next places ideal to stay would be Daytona Beach or New Smyrna Beach, which are roughly 45 minutes away from venue. They are a little further but there is more to do. West of the venue, is Disney, Sea World, Islands of Adventure and Universal (for those of you who are Harry Potter fans), and other theme parks if you wanted to make a trip going that route.

Should i be concerned about shoes?

Answer

YES! Ladies... The ceremony is held on a grassy lawn, so the idea of stilettos may seem elegant, but i promise you it wont end up elegant. Also, there are gravel pathways that you may end up walking on throughout the night. Wedges, low thick heels, or nice sandals should fit the occasion and comfort just fine.

Are we going to have to drive anywhere after the ceremony?

Answer

No. Everything is located on the same property. Although, there is a tram that will take you the short distance to where you need to be. After you park at the barn, a tram will take you to the ceremony cite ( make sure you arrive at 3:30 ). After the ceremony, you will walk to the cite where the cocktail hour and dinner will be held. After dinner and cake cutting, the tram will take you back to the barn for the reception where your cars will be close by.

Is there cell service?

Answer

Yes. The venue is in the country, but don't worry! there IS cellular service :)

Should we plan to bring kids?

Answer

We're going to politely ask to not bring kids.
