First comes love

2004-2005-ish

Sometime in 2005 we both ended up in our friend Kelly's basement for a party. We started talking and had our first date on February 14, 2005. We dated throughout high school, were on and off through college, then officially got back together in September 2011 and have been together ever since.

Then comes the pups

October 2012 and April 2016

Our Stella girl came to her forever home at the end of October 2012. We drove to Little Falls, NY and picked up the cutest puppy we have ever seen. She threw up, full pieces of dog food, into my lap the whole hour and a half ride home but she was so worth it. This fluff ball came into our home and took over our hearts. She is spoiled but sweet for sure. In April of 2016, Anthony asked me to bring a tool from our apartment in Mechanicville to our new home in Ballston Lake. I arrived and this skinny little black thing, which I thought was a stray cat, was running around our back yard. Turns out, Anthony went and rescued an 8 pound Lab/German Shepard mix. It was Anthony's turn to name the dog and this is how Romulus was added to our family.

Finally the engagement!

Decemeber 1, 2020

Anthony asked me to look up when Ellms farm was going to be open so we could go and cut down our Christmas Tree. This was going to be our first time cutting down our tree and I was so excited. Any one who knows me, knows how much I love everything about Christmas. So when we showed up and the place was closed, you could guess how shocked we both were. I apparently didn't know how to read the correct open times. As we were pulling out of the farm, Anthony saw a four wheeler flashing us down. Turns out it was the owner of the tree farm and he escorted us back to the trees. We had the farm to ourselves! Just like every other year, Anthony found the perfect tree. As he got down to cut the tree, he asked me to go around the other side of the tree to see if there was a more open spot to get to the trunk of the tree. As I came back around the tree to tell him to just start cutting, he was down on one knee with the ring box out! I immediately blacked out and when I eventually came to, I just started to jump up and down and I said YES!
