Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Andrew Pratt and Caitlin Wilson
Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Caitlin Wilson

Bride

The gal with the biggest smile in the white dress.

Andrew Pratt

Groom

The guy getting married to the pretty lady. Better than Caitlin at writing Wedding bios.

Kristen Lynch

Matron of Honor

How we met: Graduate school at George Mason University. We became fast friends in grad school at George Mason University. My fellow teacher friend of over 10 years. We quickly found out that our brains are on the same wavelength. We’ve worn the same thing, said the same thing, and even put the same emoji for each other in our phone contacts.🎀 My favorite memories are our beach trips where we shared a room and had pillow talks while wearing our retainers. I was blessed to be her maid of honor in 2015 and look forward to her standing next to me and helping me through everything.

Robert Bellamy

Best Man

There are people that you meet & immediately know you're going to be friends fo life. Robert is a prime example. When I moved to Fed Hill - he welcomed, made room, & invited me into the group. A literal Ironman, Robert balances a commitment to fitness (despite his advanced age) while ensuring time for fittin' this pizza in his face. For all minor idiosyncrasies (driving & Instgramming/forgetting tent poles on a long camping trip/being scared of the LOST intro), he's always available, interested, & ready for adventure. His cooler is readily stocked & primed to be shared during a quiet evening in that absolutely never gets out of hand. The funniest guy I know (esp when he laughs at his punchline before he's done), it's impossible not to have fun around him. Just don't ask us to sing karaoke.

Carolyn McLean

Matron of Honor

How we met: First Cousin. My first cousin. She’s like the older sister I never had. We have endless memories playing with American Girl dolls, jumping the waves at Ocean City, dancing like dorky tweens at the Hanson concert, and many holidays eating too much pie. I’ve kept her calm on a few flights and I know she’ll keep me calm on the big day. I loved standing next to her on her wedding day in 2016 and using up all the photo booth film.

Marques Mathews

Groomsman

One of my best friends throughout my life. We've done a lot together: swimming/polo, coaching, concerts, working, etc. Marques is constant motivation to strive towards being the finest version of myself (still trying). Through shear finesse, he balances being the smartest/most intelligent guy in the world w/ being a super chill goofball, capable of anything at any time. A true Renaissance man, Marques has been globally recognized as the MD State St. Paddy's Day Karate Champion (see photo), the Mother's Grille Official Dance-Off Silver Medalist, & Team Captain of State Champion Broadneck HS Mock Trial. Even though he's terrible at basketball, roots for the Eagles, & head bangs to Classical music, Marques is the perfect guy to look up to. But, not physically b/c he stopped growing ages ago.

Rachel Mays

Bridesmaid

How we met: Longwood University. Go Lancers! My ride or die at Longwood University in Farmville, VA. The forever pledge in our pretend sorority. She’s got the kindest soul and will remember everything you tell her and genuinely wants to get to know you. She’s the planner and executor every group needs. We’ve been to field parties, country concerts, tubing down the James River, and NYC! If you’re with Rachel, you’re down for a great time! You better see her on the dance floor because that was a major requirement for her 2017 wedding!

Billy Quader

Groomsman

A most excellent arranged friendship, our Moms made us carpool buddies heading into Freshmen year at St. Mary's HS in Annapolis. I can't think of two young men that better exemplified what it meant to be a "Saint" than us. Once Billy was old enough to drive, our commutes were my favorite part of the day. Sharing music, talking Caps/Skins, & slightly debaucherous topics made any drive seem short. Over the years, I learned two important things about Billy: you can get tired of women constantly telling you how pretty your eyes are & that he still holds two junior hockey league records: most time spent in the penalty box & being the only guy to ever take off his skate & try to stab somebody. One of the absolute best people I know, I couldn't imagine standing at the alter w/out him. #ALLCAPS

Kat Cheshire

Bridesmaid

How we met: Roommates at the Vista in Arlington. What began as a roommate quickly became a lifelong friend. The kindest and most civil Cowboys fan you’ll ever meet. She’s as calm as a cucumber until you get some tequila shots or Michelob Ultras in her. She’s a relaxed and expert traveler. Nothing gets her frazzled- even missing her flight to NOLA for her own 30th birthday. One of my favorite roommate things we did in our Vista apartment was sledding down the hills in Arlington with no sleds, just our metaphorical beer jacket and literal puffy coats. She’s upgraded to Colorado living (a hikers dream!) so she's probably perfected her sledding techniques.

Paolini "Roc" Cadet

Groomsman

An ex-g/f (I didn't know Caitlin yet & she was prob. in 8th grade) introduced me to Roc in college. It was the best thing that came from that relationship as we became immediate friends. Roc's loyalty, graciousness, & support knows no end... unless it requires him to be somewhere on time. He has an infectious laugh (see photo) that will be very familiar by the end of the night. I've been lucky to have been neighbors with Roc in three different states that have lead to three lifetimes worth of funny stories & amazing memories. The man keeps his sneakers clean, his food non-spicy, his fraternity decisions questionable, his business ideas plentiful, & his number of cars driven in the thousands. My favorite Botanist. My Mom's favorite dancer. Caitlin Hypeman. Roc will be the life of the party.

Megan Montgomery

Bridesmaid

How we met: Suitemates at Longwood University and roommates at the Vista in Arlington. I had the luxury of rooming with Megan at Longwood and as young professionals in Arlington. When she’s not online shopping at JCrew or yelling at the Washington Football Team to be better, she’s my spiritual guru. She knows the right meditation, song, or words of wisdom to say when you need support. She’s always there for me when I need help packing for a trip, organizing my closet, making a costume, or trying to apply eyeshadow. She’s a jack of all trades. If you need a self care day, she’s got you! She's great at giving hugs, making pot roast, and finding a great show.

Dylan Smith

Groomsman

There's not a bad thing to say about Dylan; I'm not sure why anyone would. Despite being my tallest friend, he's a regular Baryshnikov on the dance floor (Sorry... he's married). Unanimously voted "The Best Person to Watch the Sunrise With After Realizing You've Stayed Up Entirely Too Late." Very smart, kind, jovial, knowledgable, and hilarious - Dylan deserves all of the praise for always being a net positive in any situation, regardless of his involvement in the shadowy underworld of Big Insurance. Even though he's the world's worst Mario Kart player, he makes up for it by being an all-world, 1st-Place-on-Raindbow-Road caliber friend. If, at any point during the wedding, you see him with a guitar and a crooner's twinkle in his eye... feel free to immediately leave. We'll understand.

Melissa Quinn

Bridesmaid

How we met: Roommate at the Vista in Arlington. Thanks Craigslist! Another amazing roommate in Arlington. Who knew Craigslist would help me find such a sweet, genuine, and extremely tidy friend? She’s a reporter, so naturally she’s inquisitive and loves getting to know people. She’s listened to me talk for HOURS around our kitchen island as Housewives or the Bachelor played in the background. She kept me truckin’ along during a Disney 10 miler & 1/2 marathon. She appreciates kind people, college football (especially Gator fans), and a solid Friends reference.

Miles Jadwin Vonderheid

Groomsman

I've known Jad for my entire life, so he's been putting up with me for a while. Tons of great memories together - from continuously beating him on Playstation, watching Marques fail terribly trying to flirt with his sister, getting stuck on the only parking lot snowbank to demonstrate his 4x4 skills, leading our water polo team to numerous (and historic) victories, to living in the smallest house (w/ the biggest TV) in Baltimore - the list goes on and on. The world's slowest eater and Philly's Best-Dressed. Incredibly smart, handsome, and hilarious, I'm super proud to be friends with Jad. AND, when you see him at the wedding, be sure to ask him about his new tattoo that he promised he'd get during the Bachelor Party b/c there's no way a man of such high moral character would chicken out.

Tommy Wilson

Groomsman/Officiant

The man of a million nicknames. He's never met a rope he couldn't jump, a pickleball that he couldn't dink, an episode of Dr. Pol that he hasn't seen, nor a shirt that he couldn't desleeve. One of the smartest, most driven, and wittiest guys that you'll ever meet. So beloved that one of his friends wrote an emotional ballad about him and put it on Spotify. Definitely better than Caitlin at beer pong. Very okay golfer. Cannot wait to be official brothers and protect him from any shoe criticism. And, if you ever need a (long) nap, just ask him about Lord of the Rings. "Brothers don't shake hands. Brothers gotta hug!"
