Question

Is this an adults only wedding?

Answer

Due to space limitations and our desired celebration style, we are only able to accommodate adult guests at our wedding on Saturday the 18th. However, kids are welcome at the Friday Welcome Party. Please reach out to Caitlin or Alex if you have questions!

Question

What should I pack for San Francisco in October?

Answer

Layers! While we optimized our wedding date for the Bay Area's nicest weather (knock on wood), San Francisco's weather is still unpredictable. The safest bet is to pack similarly to how you would for a ski trip: base layer, mid layer, shell/outer. This lets you adjust depending on current conditions.

Question

How do I get around the city?

Answer

Despite the hills, San Francisco is a very walkable city. If you're looking for local transportation options, read on below! Alex would tell you that biking/bikeshare is the most efficient way to get around :) Using the Lyft app, bikeshare stations can be located all around the city and there is a network of bike lanes to get safely to/from most places. There are both regular bike and electric bike options. Lyft/Uber/Waymo also work, assuming there's not much traffic. Muni (public transportation light rail and buses) have great coverage as well, but tend to be a bit slower and less direct. Note: If you're driving around the city and decide to park somewhere, DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR CAR.
