We had several classes together in college and knew of each other in passing, but I was shy and he was super cute and scary. It wasn't until one night after Statics class Aiden walked me home across campus and asked me if I would join his team later that night in an intramural soccer league game. Mind you, it was already almost 10PM... that was just the beginning of a crazy, fun relationship full of spontaneous adventures. My first thought during the game was "oh, he can really play!!" The rest is [as they say] history... since that night, we played soccer almost every day throughout college, studied together, and eventually graduated, accepted offers to both work as engineers for Medtronic, moved to Memphis, and now are teammates again... this time in cycling! Looking forward to being life-long teammates, confidants, and best friends <3

What began as passing glances in the concrete corridors of Benedum Hall forever changed my perception of time. Due dates, days, and weeks gave way to measuring life through activities and adventures with Caitlin by my side (or on my team). Football was first, then a pet, and then a pair of graduations. "Memphis," she said when the clock struck again. Since then, we've learned about spine surgery, spiders, and so much about cycling. But I've learned most about my curious, committed, and gorgeous companion through our shared experiences that make me smile when I now glance at her today.
