FAQ

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 1, 2025 so we can finalize our plans and ensure everything is perfect for your arrival. You'll be able to select your meal preference when you RSVP. We appreciate your prompt response and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is dress to impress cocktail attire with NO prints/patterns/florals (this will help to make the photographs we cherish for a lifetime more cohesive). Think polished, elegant, and formal.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be adults-only, with the exception of immediate family.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests who are specifically named on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Question

When should I arrive to Asheville?

Answer

We recommend arriving on Friday or Saturday to make the most of your time in Asheville since here’s so much to explore, from amazing James Beard award winning restaurants and iconic breweries to scenic mountain views. On Saturday night, we’re kicking off the celebrations at a rooftop bar in downtown Asheville. This will be an informal gathering where friends & family can grab their own drinks & soak in the views while enjoying good company before the big day! We’d love to see you there!

Question

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, so we kindly ask guests to arrive by 4:30 PM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, having a drink and settling in. We want everyone to be present for the special moment, so please plan accordingly!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will include both indoor and outdoor celebrations, and we’re hoping for beautiful weather so we can fully enjoy both spaces! We recommend dressing comfortably for an evening that may move between the two. If the forecast calls for anything unexpected, we’ll have a backup plan in place.

Question

Will there be parking or transportation available?

Answer

We highly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft—it’s a short and inexpensive ride, and with an open bar, we want everyone to enjoy the night safely! If you are driving, there is a parking lot connected to the venue with plenty of space for all of our guests.

Question

What kind of food and drinks will be served?

Answer

We’ll be kicking off the celebration with a cocktail hour featuring passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by a sit-down plated dinner with delicious options to choose from. You’ll be able to select your meal preference in advance when you RSVP. And of course, we’ll have a full open bar throughout the night—so come ready to eat, drink, and celebrate with us!

Question

Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options?

Answer

Yes. You’ll be able to select your meal preference when you RSVP. If you have any specific dietary concerns, feel free to reach out—we want to make sure you’re taken care of!

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

We will be providing a full open bar with cocktails, liquor, wine, beer & champagne throughout the night! Be ready to drink, because open bar is expensive y'all!

Question

Is there a hotel block or recommended accomodations?

Answer

We do not have hotel blocks, as Asheville’s hotels can be quite expensive. Instead, we recommend booking an Airbnb or VRBO rental in Downtown Asheville, North Asheville, Montford, or Little Five Points for the best proximity to the wedding and all the fun! If you prefer a hotel, we suggest booking early, as availability in Asheville can fill up quickly.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you feel inclined, we’ve put together a small registry that you can find on this website.

Question

How is Asheville after the floods?

Answer

Asheville is a resilient and beautiful city, and while the floods caused significant damage, the community has come together in incredible ways to rebuild. While many of our favorite spots were swept away, there are still several areas that were thankfully not impacted at all, including our beloved downtown. If you're visiting, we encourage you to support local businesses and enjoy everything Ashevile has to offer!

Question

What are some fun things to do in Asheville in my free time?

Answer

Asheville is pure magic! Start your morning with a leisurely stroll through downtown, where locally owned shops and restaurants bring the city’s creative spirit to life. For coffee lovers, we highly recommend High Five! Their Weather Report (hot or iced) is a must-try! For a taste of Asheville’s eclectic side, head over to West Asheville. This vibrant neighborhood is home to some of the city’s best eats and coolest local shops. Brunch at Sunny Point Café is legendary for a reason, and if you’re a pastry lover, OWL Bakery will steal your heart—Caitlin officially crowns their croissants the best in town. And for the ultimate sweet treat? The Hop is an Asheville staple, and their salted caramel ice cream is pure heaven. If history and architecture fascinate you, The Biltmore House is an absolute gem. This grand estate feels like stepping into The Great Gatsby era, and its breathtaking gardens will stay with you forever. For nature lovers, Asheville is a paradise. Within an hour’s drive, you’ll find countless stunning waterfall hikes, or you can take a scenic cruise along the Blue Ridge Parkway, where every curve in the road reveals a view more awe-inspiring than the last.
