Question

How Do I Get to San Diego, California!?

Answer

International Guests - San Diego International Airport is a short Uber ride away from where the wedding will take place and the suggested hotels. US peeps - I think you got this but email us if you need any help :)

Question

Do I need a Visa to enter the US?

Answer

Yes, if you have an Australian passport you need an ESTA visa. It costs $14. Please go to this link and purchase your visa as soon as possible (at least a month before you plan to enter the US) https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/

Question

What are the entry requirements for the US in regard to Covid?

Answer

Starting on December 6, air travelers aged two and older, regardless of nationality or vaccination status, are required to show documentation of a negative viral test result taken within one day of the flight’s departure to the United States before boarding. If you recently recovered from COVID-19, you may instead travel with documentation of recovery from COVID-19 (i.e., your positive COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure from a foreign country, and a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel). https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/ea/requirements-for-air-travelers-to-the-us.html

Question

Why is there a gap between the ceremony ending and reception starting?

Answer

- So the DJ can help us with both the ceremony and reception music and have time to change venues - Restrictions at both venues on how long we can use the space After the ceremony, the bridal party will be spending some time in Balboa Park where the Chapel is located, to take our photos. It is a beautiful park and you may wish to stay and enjoy it for a little while. Here are some places near the reception venue you can go for a drink before the reception begins - Vin de Syrah - 901 Fifth Avenue, San Diego, 92101 (opens at 5pm) The Lobby Bar and Lounge (inside the Courtyard Marriot Hotel) - 530 Broadway, San Diego, 92101

Question

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

We suggest the best way to do this is to take an Uber/Lyft/Taxi. Make friends and share with other guests if it's easier :) It's only a 7 minute drive between venues or between the Chapel and suggested bars.
