Our story initially began in high school, however we started officially dating on May 29th. We had been at the lake all day long and it had started raining, we started dancing in the rain with Chris Stapleton playing in the background at 9pm..it was the perfect opportunity for Matt to ask me out. However, Matt got scared and waited until we pulled into his mamaws driveway and he finally popped the question and asked me to be his girlfriend. If you know me, then you know I was trying to keep him on his toes so I waited until I got home to tell him yes. Good thing I didn’t do that when he proposed, right? Anyways, we officially made it official and now here we are in 2026 planning our wedding with our favorite people!
