Like many modern love stories, ours began with a simple swipe on Hinge. What started as a digital connection quickly turned into something real when we discovered our shared love for good beer—and even better conversation. Our first date was at Prairie Street Brewing in Rockford, IL. From the moment we sat down, everything just clicked. We talked for hours—about our families, our faith, our journeys with God, music, and our work. We closed the place down and then stayed in the car talking until 1am. It felt like time stood still. As our relationship grew, so did our love and trust in one another. We walked through some tough seasons, especially as we supported our families through illness. In those moments, we truly began to see what life might look like without each other—and we realized we didn’t want to face the future apart. That’s when our hearts turned toward building a life together. Exactly one year after that unforgettable first date, on March 11th, 2025, Ethan proposed outside Prairie Street Brewing—the very place where it all began. We believe with all our hearts that it was God who brought us together. He has been at the center of our relationship from the very beginning, guiding every step and deepening our love in ways we never imagined. We are so incredibly grateful for His perfect timing and plan. We can’t wait to say “I do” on May 30th, 2026, and begin this next chapter hand in hand, grounded in faith and surrounded by the people we love.
