How Caitie Met Nathan

God's timing really is perfect

Once upon a time, there were two friends getting married. Wait, this sounds familiar... Our tale starts off with two different friends engaged to one another. The bride was one of Caitie's best friends from high school and the groom was Nathan's college friend and roommate. As Caitie grew in friendship with the bride and groom, so did Nathan respectively. There were a lot of gatherings and hanging out with one another, but the funny thing was, Nathan and Caitie always seemed to miss each other at these events. It would always be or the other that would show up. Finally in August 2015, as both Caitie and Nathan were asked to be a part of the wedding festivities, their friends noticed something. Both of them were single and they both had a lot in common. So, they asked Caitie and Nathan if they wanted to join them for dinner - except they didn't tell Caitie and Nathan that the other would be there. That first date was well, interesting. Caitie was so nervous that she felt like she had to keep talking the whole time and Nathan was too shy to look Caitie in the eye. They both thought that the other didn't like each other and that was it. However, as more wedding planning took place, Caitie and Nathan started hanging out and seeing each other more and more. Their friendship grew and grew and they couldn't stop thinking about one another. So it was then after walking down the aisle together for the first time, Nathan asked Caitie out on their very first date and she said yes. Almost 5 years later, Caitie and Nathan have continued to grow in love and laughter. They are truly each other's best friends and they get a chuckle still when they think about how they met. They look forward to many adventures, pets, and wonderful memories to be made with each other as they take this next step together in their journey!
