Caitie and Lexi met in their freshman year of high school, and became inseparable for pretty much the rest of their school careers (and after). Lexi has been and continues to be one of Caitie’s biggest anchors in life, always standing by her side no matter what.
Madi
Best Woman
Caitie’s Side Caitie’s big sister and best friend. Madi was unofficially adopted by Caitie’s family about 5 years ago. Madi became an essential part of Caitie’s life in high school, but became an essential part of her family around the time Caitie graduated from high school. Madi is also the sister of Kris’s best man, Roni, and is the amazing mom of both of the flower kids.
Izzie
Bridesmaid
Caitie’s Side Caitie’s childhood best friend and one of her biggest supporters. Caitie and Izzie met when they were tiny little babies in 6th grade, just starting middle school, and their bond has been inseparable since. From the time they became friends, Izzie has been and continues to be a safe place for Caitie, no matter the situation.
Cierra
Maid of Honor
Kris’s Side Kris’s best friend and partner in crime. Kris and Cierra met in high school, and they’ve been glued at the hip since. However, you’ll never hear Cierra call Kris by her real name. Cierra has been Conchita’s #1 since the moment they met. She’s Conchita’s personal diary, her partner in crime, and BOTH the devil and the angel on her shoulder.
Roni
Best Man
Kris’s Side Caitie’s brother and best friend, Kris’s best friend. Kris and Roni met through Caitie in their 20’s, but have become inseparable since. Roni has been a rock for both Caitie and Kris throughout their relationships. Roni and Caitie met in freshman year, and he has also become an unofficially adopted member of the Wittig Family.
Brooke
Bridesmaid
Kris’s Side Kris’s little sister and favorite nuisance. This wedding wouldn’t be the same without her biggest supporter and cheerleader standing by her side. Brooke, while being one of the biggest pains in our asses, is also one of the first people we call when we’re having a bad day. Where you might never hear it come out of her mouth, Kris wouldn’t be the person she is today without her sister and wouldn’t trade her for the world.
Everleigh
Flower Girl
Caitie’s niece and mini best friend. Everleigh is the best niece to ever exist. (Not that we’re biased or anything.) She was born only 3 short months before Caitie and Kris’s relationship started, and she’s been the center of their love (and money) since. Her nickname from them is “Princess” and her personality matches.
Christopher Jr
Flower Boy
Caitie’s nephew and light of her life. CJ is still super young, but he has the MOST personality. He loves to laugh, and he has the best full belly laughs. He’s obsessed with his mommy and his daddy, and he adores his big sister. His aunts love to snuggle him and complain about how big he’s getting.
Clayton
Ring Bearer
Caitie’s childhood best friend and “boyfriend”. Clayton, only known as Cupcake to Caitie, has been one of her best friends since kindergarten. They’ve had their rough patches, but no matter what they’ve gone through, they always come back stronger. Where this role is traditionally not filled by an adult, Clayton means the absolute world to Caitie and walking down the aisle wouldn’t be the same without him.
Ashley
Usher
Caitie’s childhood best friend and personal diary. Ashley and Caitie have been best friends since they were in middle school, and despite living about 5 hours away from each other, their bond hasn’t changed a bit. No matter what drama happened throughout their friendship, they always chose each other and their relationship first. Ashley has been Caitie’s personal diary, secret keeper, logical reasoning, adventure buddy, book reading buddy, her extra hands whenever she needed help with her siblings, all of it. Ashley has always been there for Caitie the moment she needed it. Caitie wouldn’t be here today without her, and definitely wouldn’t be able to get through today without her. Every day is a new day, and this day wouldn’t be the same without her.
Jeremy
Usher
Caitie’s chosen brother. Jeremy has been a huge part of Caitie’s life since highschool. Jeremy was her sister Brianna’s best friend throughout highschool, and always made the effort to be involved with the entire family. Jeremy and his dad were there for Caitie’s family during a lot of hard times, and will forever be apart of her family, despite not being “apart of the family”.
Shontell
Officiant
Kris’s cousin. Shontell has been a rock for Kris her entire life, even all the way from California. When Kris and Caitie got together, Shontell all but threw a party. She was one of the very first people in Kris’s family to accept her and love her, and Caitie will be forever grateful. Since the start of Kris and Caitie’s relationship, Shontell has been nothing short of the absolute most supportive person in their lives. Caitie and Kris couldn’t think of anybody better to be marrying them. We love you, Shontell, more than words can say.
