Matron of Honor
Caiti has always looked up to her older sister (even though her height makes that difficult).
Best Man
Papa Frat!!! The father-figure of the Goons ... until the words "bottle service" enter the fray. Our lifelong friendship is a testament that opposites do, in fact, attract. What he lacks in vocabulary, he more than makes up with an inner confidence we can all aspire to. He (and his lovely bride) have provided a relatable and awe-inspiring example of what pure, unadulterated love looks like. And John, the person, has provided me a role model to look up to -- in so many facets of life.

There is no Goon Nation without the Big Bear. My brother, who for 20+ years, has always lifted me up when I’m at my lowest — whose loyalty is unwavering, whose passion is unflinching and whose consistency and genuineness is unparalleled. I am not the person I am today without his presence in my life. Simple as that. “Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.”

My Hype Twin. Charlie Tweeder. Shake 'n Bake. STATE! Not your typical "Yes" man. Rather, he's the guy who you can ALWAYS count on to show up -- and give all of himself to the moment at hand. He has mastered and personified the Art of Now -- with a consistency that is unrivaled. He's stayed true to himself throughout our lifelong friendship. And in the meantime, he has matured and grown into the type of person I can honestly say is one of my anchors in this unpredictable rollercoaster we call life.

The friendship and loyalty that was fostered in a spare bedroom in my College Station apartment, with weekly karaoke sessions at "The Tap" and half-off Wednesdays on Northgate, has never wavered -- no matter the location or level of success. As his business success has continued to prosper, my Onesie Twin has always made it a point to stay true to himself -- and to his brothers. In the process, he has given our group countless memories and experiences that less than 1% of the population could ever dream of. His passion and work ethic are qualities that motivate me constantly. And his willingness to offer help, advice and/or assistance to a brother in need is something we can all strive to emulate.

During our freshman year of college, if you asked me or Rachel who would be standing with us on our wedding day -- neither of our answers would've included the other. Fast forward to 2022, and I was amongst a select few asked to be a part of the now Mrs. Rachel Ladd's elopement in Colorado. A handful of significant moments come to mind that made this true, but with every plot twist (positive or negative) that happened in our lives, Rachel and I were there for one another, supporting each other every step of the way. I can't imagine my wedding without her by my side.

My first, real friend. From front yard football to roller hockey, my childhood memories are filled with T. Though the activities may have changed (pregame beer pong and sports talk vs. hockey sticks and sweating), the depth of our bond has remained. I'm so proud of this friendship.

Who knew a shot of grey goose with a stranger at Taco Mama would turn into one of my most valued friendships. From that weekend Mari visited Alabama for the Texas A&M game, she has relentlessly showed up for me... And it typically involved her FaceTiming or driving far and wide to make some kicks memories with me. Mari was the first Aggie I ever met, and now I'm marrying one... Life is definitely unpredictable. GigEm Ags. (But Roll Tide forever).

When we met, during his first week at A&M (he a freshman and me a creepy graduate), neither of us could have envisioned the meaningful friendship that transpired in the 10+ years since. Every monumental moment in my life these past few years, it seems, has included Crancer -- which speaks to his best quality: that he always shows up. He's affable as all get out, can charm his way into any room. But make no mistake - when the chips are down, he will unflinchingly be in your corner.

My uncle. My mentor. My friend. He started as my Uncle D -- from the time he held me in his giant hands as a toddler. Most importantly, he instilled the Aggie spirit into me as a young boy. That relationship evolved into his becoming my mentor. Although we only saw eachother a few times a year, we shared countless important conversations that helped shape me into the man I am today. This has evolved into an adult friendship that I cherish. Our relationship -- between uncle and nephew -- is so rare.

Although the accent and height differential would suggest otherwise, he has become my brother. He is family. We may not share the same blood, but ours is an enduring and unbreakable bond made stronger by tragedy and legitimate adversity. I'm so grateful to have him in my life, his humor, his consistency, his support.
