TRANSPORT TO CHATEAU DE MAUMONT **Actual Times TBD** We are working on organizing private shuttles to run from Vichy Hotels to the Château on Saturday before the ceremony w a return to Vichy late in the evening. As well as a return trip from the Château to downtown on Sunday after the Brunch. Otherwise its also possible to take a taxi to and from Vichy & the Château (20 min/30€)

TRAINS PARIS TO VICHY

CITY OF PARIS TO VICHY (3hr) !! TRAIN STRIKES PLANNED FOR SATURDAY, JUNE 2ND & SUNDAY, JUNE 3RD !! Consider Car Rental, Flights, or traveling on Friday, June 1st & Monday, June 4th. Visit SNCF site for latest - https://en.oui.sncf/en/train/strike There are Direct intercity trains from Paris Gare de Bercy to Vichy. Takes about 3 Hrs and a one-way ticket costs around 15€-40€ (depending on times/date of purchase) CHARLES DE GAULLE PARIS AIRPORT TO VICHY (4.5hr) 2 Options: - Can take a Taxi to Paris Gare de Bercy then direct intercity train to Vichy (cheaper/shorter option) - OR fast TGV train from CDG-2 to Lyon w easy transfer to direct TER train to Vichy (this the more expensive/slightly longer option, but avoids hassle of taxi in Paris) **We recommend downloading the OUI SNCF app to search & purchase tickets (can modify language to English)** **Tickets are usually available 3 months before date of travel**

TRANSPORT ONCE IN VICHY

TAXIS (NO Ubers in Vichy) Taxi Framont Boufferet +33 (0)4 70 97 03 03 Vichy downtown hotels are just a few minutes drive from the Train Station and Taxis are usually waiting outside, so if arriving via train can easily grab a cab. (Turn left when exiting the station for the taxi stand). Can also call taxis easily from any hotel to buzz around town. RENTAL CARS It's also possible to rent a car while in Vichy. Rental Agencies are located immediately outside the train station - EuroCar, Hertz, Avis and ADA Express. Can check online for best deals. BY FOOT Once downtown, Vichy is easily walkable to cafes, restaurants, the spa, and shopping. The parks and the river are also easily accessible by foot from all the hotels listed.
