Mike and Cait’s story began at an unlikely place: the kids' coloring table at a Geez Magazine release party at Swords Into Plowshares Art Gallery. Mike, drawn to the colorful chaos of the kids' art table, sat down and sketched a drawing. Later that evening, Cait wandered over, spotted the drawing, and decided to color it in. As she carefully filled in the lines, Mike returned—and was amazed to see that Cait had colored the drawing exactly how he had imagined it in his mind. It was a moment of unexpected synchronicity. She stuck out her hand and shook his, and the rest, as they say, is history. From that chance encounter, a beautiful connection grew, and they’ve been coloring life together ever since.
