Caitlyn & Jeremy met when she was 19 and he was 22. Little did she know the love of her life was right up the road from her, or that one of his best friends lived in the same neighborhood as she did. Jeremy asked Caitlyn on a date to Donut Connection coffee, and she showed up in a giant Pitt hoodie, cabin socks, and her hair up because she wasn’t trying to impress Jeremy in the slightest... but he is pretty charming, and so, after a couple of dates, Caitlyn found her best friend in October of 2016. Jeremy stuck around throughout nursing school (bless him) and cheered her on all 4 years. Jer & Cait have spent all of their 20s together, learning how to be adults, going through the highs and lows of life, and finally moving in together in 2021. They welcomed two cats, Meello and Maverick (which Jeremy said no to, obviously Caitlyn didn’t listen). On November 11th, 2023, Jeremy asked Caitlyn to marry him in their favorite town and home of Aspinwall. The first thing Caitlyn said was “Yes!!” of course, but she needed to finish her master's degree (again, bless Jeremy). So finally, after two more years of school & a new job, Caitlyn looked at Jeremy and said, "I guess we should plan this wedding, huh?" We have finally picked a date, a place, and our favorite people to surround us as we say “I do” on August 15th, 2026.
