As most of you know, Caisy & George both attended Ramapo College of NJ! And while they didn't meet until a few years after graduation, we can say that *this* is officially where it all began. Thanks to a Ramapo College newspaper photo website leak in 2017, a photo of Caisy & George (taken in 2013) was discovered. In the photo you see only Caisy performing & only George watching her play and sing. Fate? Foreshadowing? Sounds like it! They would officially be introduced in Fall of 2016 by the one and only, Tracy Black, at a bar called Pianos, in the Lower East Side of NYC. Tracy rarely ever approved of the people Caisy dated (understandably so, tbh), so Caisy agreed to meeting George that night - yet again at another performance. It was a great night and a friendship was formed. For the next two-ish years, Caisy and George would keep in touch and eventuallyyyyyy properly date. First being at Melrose Diner. By the time Caisy and George *finally* started dating in 2018, Caisy was residing in Bergen County & George was living in Philadelphia. Philadelphia is the place where their love would bloom. While the distance was tough from time to time, it never posed as a threat to their connection. Their honesty, open communication & trust for one another was enough to get them through the week apart & make it even sweeter when they could reconnect. Whether it was splitting (two..three?) pitchers of margs at Cantina Los Caballitos, or attending many of George's hilarious comedy shows, interesting Fleetwood Mac raves, Nut Hut shenanigans.. or waking up hungover & lugging themselves over to Melrose... Every weekend was packed with fun, love, too many city wides, & some of the best memories they share to date. Fast forward to that fun time in March 2020..... Welp, the positives were that they adopted a dog from Aruba & moved in together! That year was a blur and a half, but it was also the year that George turned Caisy into a full on Marvel Nerd. Living together brought the two of them closer than they could imagine, especially George to Caisy's family - as he inherited her siblings as roommates too LOL (& Dennis too, we love Dennis). Sh*t got real in 2021 when George popped the question! It was an EXHAUSTING day (for George). - Instagram messaging coworkers to contact Caisy's boss to explain *why* he needs her to leave work early - Coordinating with Brenna a "test photo shoot" so she can "practice sunset photo settings" - Lying to Caisy to explain why he was in a hotel room in Hazlet, NJ (and her believing it because well.. you all know Caisy). - Getting Brenna & Dot to bully Caisy into wearing a nice dress & makeup (instead of sporting un-showered french braids & a biker shorts get-up) ... All to lead her to the spot where her parents started their family. So when they reached the end of the pier, posing for "Brenna's lighting test photo shoot", George turned to Caisy and breathlessly said, "Have you really not figured it out yet!?" Truly having no idea, shocked, Caisy said, "NO, no? No. Oh my god, are you serious?" George said, "Please stop saying no!" Got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" To which then, finally, Caisy said, "YES!" And here we are- let's go f*cking party!!!!!!!!
