If you are a bride, bridesmaid, or anyone getting ready at the bridal suite, you'll go to the farmhouse and park in the field that has the white barn. Sometime in the late morning/early afternoon, the Avonlea golf cart crew will guide you to park in general parking and bring you back to the bridal suite so no cars are near the wedding tree. If you are a groom, groomsman, or anyone getting ready at the grooms cottage, you'll park on the asphalt in front of the cottage. You'll unload your stuff and then move your cars because that is where vendors unload and it gets crowded quickly. If you are a guest, you will park in general parking at the front of the property. We recommend guests do not arrive more than 30 minutes before the ceremony but a golf cart attendant will be manning the parking lot one hour prior to the ceremony to guide people on where to park. A golf cart crew member will then begin seating guests 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.
From Avonlea: We strongly encourage you to find alternative plans that don't involve leaving cars on the property overnight. We are not liable if anything happens to them. That being said, we will never tow a car if one of your guests decides to overindulge that evening. We ask if any cars are left for that reason, that they are promptly picked up the next day before 10am. Please note the manager on duty does need to be informed if any cars are going to be left on the property.
