Please RSVP to this website no later than September 7. We have a tight window for getting everything settled for the events so we appreciate your prompt reply. Please be aware it will be a multi-step RSVP for your entire party. There are three places to RSVP....one for Wedding, one for Worship and one for Lunch. We especially need numbers for Worship to have enough communion and for Lunch so we can tell the Food Truck how many are coming. You may also RSVP by sending an email to cainyousayido@gmail.com.
Wedding and Worship will take place in the Walnut Grove lovingly dubbed PawPaw's Holler located South of the Partridge Home. Lunch will be provided on the front lawn of the Partridge Home next door to PawPaw's Holler. 28507 219th St, Easton, KS 66020
The Wedding Ceremony will start promptly at 10am. We would suggest getting to the venue no later than 30 minutes early to allow time to park and walk/get a ride to the holler from the parking area, set up your seating and get comfortable before the ceremony starts. Any later than that--you will most likely not make it on time and a ride to the venue may not be possible due to our helpers being busy elsewhere. The time for Worship is estimated. It all depends on how long the ceremony takes and how long we need to break to allow people to either leave, go to the bathroom or stretch their legs in between events. Lunch will start at 12pm. Depending on when Worship starts and how long it lasts, there may be a bit of a break in between the end of Worship and the start of lunch.
Parking will be available in the field at the Partridge Home. A ride will be given to those unable to walk to the venue site. Please keep in mind the road is dirt/rock and the activities are all on grass so please wear appropriate shoes.
Since this is a lengthy event we are requesting all guests bring their own seating with them. Whatever this looks like for you to be comfortable is what you will need to bring......blanket, camp chair, rocking chair, recliner, sofa......just make sure whatever you bring you can carry yourself as we will not have moving help available that day. :) If you are unable to bring your own chair, please email cainyousayido@gmail.com to let us know and one will be provided for you, although we can't promise it will be comfy!
There will be two indoor bathrooms located at the Partridge Home available for use. We will also have very nice Porta-Potties located at the Wedding Venue and the Lunch Venue available for use.
All activities on this day will be conducted outside NO MATTER the weather. Please be prepared to bring an umbrella, a blanket, a fan or other items that will make your attendance more comfortable.
Since these events will be outside, there will most likely be BUGS. We will provide some bug spray and bug stickers, but if you have something you prefer to use for your family for bug repellent, please bring it with you! There is also AMPLE poison ivy/oak out here. Please be aware of your surroundings and what you and your kids are touching.
Please dress in your Sunday Best taking into account the forecasted weather. All activities will be conducted outside NO MATTER the weather. All activities will be held on grassy terrain so make sure you wear appropriate shoes.
Lunch will be provided via Food Truck on the Front Lawn of the Partridge Home about noon on the event day. If Wedding and Worship end early, there will be a bit of a pause before lunch is served.
The Partridge Home is nestled in a valley in the hills of Leavenworth County, Kansas. Please be aware there is little to NO cell phone service in the valley. Once you turn onto the dirt road leading to the wedding venue you will most likely not have any cell phone service. Please take this into account when attending this event. WiFi will not be readily available to guests so as not to overload the Partridge's WiFi which will be needed to contact vendors and other necessary things during the event day.
This will not be an "unplugged" ceremony. Please feel free to take pictures and share them with us! All we ask is that you are aware of the photographer we have hired and be considerate of where she would like to be to take photographs. Please try to stay out of her way and let her capture the moments she thinks are important to capture. Otherwise, snap away! :)
Kids are welcome! Since all these events are outside, however, we request that parents be aware of the necessity of keeping track of their own children's whereabouts. There are creeks out here (which may or may not have water), animals, bugs, poison ivy and other hazardous things associated with being outside. Please make sure if you bring small children that you are aware of your surroundings and keep track of your kiddos activities. We will try to have some fun things to do during the lunch reception but bringing some things for littles to do to keep them occupied would be welcome.
Tate and Karissa are registered at Scheel's, Menards and Amazon. You can use either one of their names to search if you go directly to those websites. However, there are links at the top of the registry page for Scheels and Menards. Amazons registry connects directly with Zola so scroll down the page and you will see the items from their Amazon registry. They also have a few options to contribute to a three day honeymoon they would like to take the weekend after they get married. Because both of them have been living on their own for awhile they feel they don't need many things, but they would LOVE to be able to afford a short honeymoon. Options to contribute to their short getaway are under the Registry tab on this website.
