We love your little ones, but BOTH the shower and ceremony will be adults-only. The shower will be a daytime celebration, and the ceremony & reception will take place in the afternoon & evening. We hope you can enjoy a little break and celebrate with us, kid-free!
It’s a celebration with food, drinks, and fun to mark the start of our married life. Think of it as our joyful “send-off” before the intimate ceremony the following weekend!
Nope - there won’t be a ceremony or vows at this event. Just a fun celebration with everyone!
We’re having an intimate ceremony with just our immediate families, and this wedding shower is our way of celebrating with all of you! If you're invited to the ceremony, you'll receive an invitation - and when you RSVP, it will ask about both events.
If your invitation includes a plus-one, they’re absolutely welcome to join the fun! Most guests will see both names listed if you’re invited as a couple. Since we need to provide a final headcount for both the shower and ceremony, we kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation RSVP. If you have any questions, please reach out!
Attire: Black Tie - Wear BLACK! This is a formal event, and we kindly ask all guests to wear black to match the elegant tone of the ceremony. For women: Long black gowns or formal cocktail dresses. Please avoid wearing any color other than black to honor the all-black attire request. For men: A black suit with a white dress shirt and black tie or bow tie. Nice dress shoes encouraged - the look should feel sharp and classic.
Attire: Semi-formal Winter We kindly ask guests to dress in semi-formal winter attire - think elevated but not overly formal. For women: Dresses, jumpsuits, or separates in richer or darker winter tones (like emerald, burgundy, navy, black, or jewel tones). Heels, boots, or dressy flats are all great. For men: Slacks or dress pants with a button-down or sweater. Blazers, sport coats, and ties are encouraged, but not required. Darker or muted winter colors are preferred (gray, navy, forest green, etc.).
