Caimbre

and

Brayden

July 12, 2024

American Fork, UT

How They Met

Sometime in December 2018 ;)

We met like in any classic Hallmark movie, inside the Home Depot garden center just days before Christmas. It was dark and the garden center was lit up with Christmas lights. Brayden was cutting Christmas trees, while Caimbre was giving out cookies and hot chocolate. They were just two high school kids, chatting about baseball, dance, college, and life. Little did they know that months later, they would be best friends.

Making it Official

July 5, 2019

Caimbre and Brayden started reconnecting soon after high school graduation. By the 4th of July, they planned a camping trip up Provo Canyon. It didn't necessarily go as planned; they got stuck up the canyon with no tent and one other friend. They made it work by cooking hot dogs over a fire and all three of them sleeping in Caimbre’s Jeep Liberty. In the morning, they dropped the friend off at their car and went back to camp to clean up. While hanging out at camp, Brayden decided to make it official. :)

The Proposal

July 6, 2023

Brayden flew out to visit Caimbre inbetween her two summer internships in New York City. He popped the question four years and one day after they first made it official. Although his original grand plan of proposing on the 4th of July under the fireworks on the East River didn’t work out, his intimate proposal under the Brooklyn Bridge, with a view of Manhattan and a propped-up iPhone, ended up being absolutely perfect.
