In the fall of 2019, God allowed our paths to cross in the most unexpected and beautiful way—through our school district's annual high school play at the Magnolia Civic Center. Conner was a senior in high school, and Cailyn was a junior. While there wasn’t an instant romantic connection, the Lord began writing something special as our friendship blossomed. Conner’s kindness and witty spirit quickly captured Cailyn’s heart, and soon we were spending every moment of play practice side by side. We shared our first kiss just after the final curtain call—right outside the Magnolia Civic Center, the very place where the foundation of our relationship was built. When the world slowed down during COVID, life looked a little different, but we stayed close through lots of FaceTime calls, long texts, and weekend visits when we could. Even in that season of change, our connection only grew stronger, and we continued to fall more in love with each passing day. From movie nights and dinner dates to cheering on the Rebels at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, our memories together became some of our most treasured. On March 22, 2025, Conner brought our story full circle by proposing at the place where it all began. With a joyful heart, Cailyn said “yes” to forever. Now, as we prepare for marriage, we are praying for God’s continued guidance and presence in our journey. We know that love is more than a feeling—it is a choice, a commitment, and a reflection of Christ. We are so thankful for the support and prayers of our loved ones and can’t wait to celebrate God’s faithfulness with you on May 23, 2026.
