Celebrating the Marriage of

We met, as so many do in this day and age, through online dating. Facebook Dating to be precise, as I considered it the platform for the mature, and serious daters. Who else still uses Facebook except other millennials and our grandmothers? Before we met in person, Steven suggested we have a phone conversation to get to know one another better. While I am not usually one to enjoy a phone call with a stranger, I am so glad I agreed, because not only did that call last three full hours, but I was blessed with one of the deepest voices, and grandest laughs I had ever heard. By the end, we both knew we had something special and Steven asked to meet on my next day off, which was Sunday. Our phone call was on Monday, that was much too long for either of us to wait, and the next day we decided to meet for dinner after work. We met at a sushi place in the middle of our hour and a half distance. This date happened to be Tuesday, April First, and both of us were a little nervous the other would ditch as a bad April Fool's Day joke, but in the end, we had the best first date that went just like our phone call; hours longer than expected and we definitely had that something special. This is the day Steven knew he would marry me. It took me only until the originally planned date on Sunday to realize that I wanted to spend forever with him, and he officially asked me to be his girlfriend that night.
