We officially met in 8th grade, sharing classes but moving in completely different circles. Throughout middle and high school, we remained just one step apart—connected through mutual friends, yet never quite friends ourselves. Even then, there were small hints of what was to come, though neither of us knew it at the time. It wasn’t until our senior year that everything began to change. As our friend groups started to overlap, we found ourselves spending more time together. Somewhere in those shared moments, a connection began to grow. What started as group hangs slowly turned into strategized outings orchestrated by him, then shifted into something more intentional—planned by both of us. As our relationship grew, so did the realization of just how small the world really is. Years before we ever truly met, our lives had already been quietly connected—our families had crossed paths without knowing what it would one day mean. Even during our freshman year, we had been randomly paired together for a photo, standing side by side long before we understood why. Looking back, it feels like there were signs all along. Through every season since, we have become each other’s safe place, comfort, and home—offering comfort, support, and understanding in a way that feels effortless. Together, we’ve navigated life’s challenges, grown individually and as a couple, and built a foundation rooted in trust, love, and honesty. We’ve shared our dreams, our struggles, and the parts of ourselves we’ve never shown anyone else. It’s clear that our story didn’t truly begin when we met. It had been unfolding all along—we just had to wait for the right moment to finally choose each other again and again.
