Providence has an amazing food + drink scene, with great outdoor patios in the summer. A few favorites we love: Aguardente (near the hotel) Laid-back, fun, and delicious Portuguese small plates - we like the Pao de Queijo, lamb chops, and spicy mussels. Persimmon (also very close to the hotel) A more upscale option for delicious local plates - make a reservation! Palo Spanish tapas and vermouth in a cozy space near the canal. Tiny Bar An aptly-named spot with a fantastic cocktail list. ISCO A local craft distillery, the oldest in Providence, and female-owned! Has a great patio & you can bring in outside food. JD likes their Blue Velvet Bourbon! Wickenden Pub A classic and favorite dive bar with 100 beer options (you get a special plaque on the wall if you order one of each... or you can settle for a T-shirt if you hit 33). Free popcorn! Hot Club A fun, high-energy spot for drinks right on the water - good for those who want to keep the party going!
