Cailin and Nate met at a mutual friend's party in January of 2023. Cailin was in her senior year of college, while Nate was in his first year of teaching at Orting Middle School. Later that night Cailin ended up asking Nate for his phone number and he gave it to her. Cailin texted Nate later that night and they haven't stopped talking since then. Nate officially asked Cailin to be boyfriend and girlfriend on April 8th 2023. We then moved into an apartment together in 2024. Then on April 18th 2025, Nate asked Cailin to marry him. She said YES! :)
