In E-town, KY it feels like you know or know OF every single human within a 5foot radius. It's a small town with a lot of personality. Somehow, I had never met or heard of Stefan and vice versa. At the time I was working as an LMT and I had just decided that I was going to move to a hut in Thailand with my pet elephant and never marry. So I thought. It was St. Patrick's Day and I had just gotten off work. My mom who was out with her coworkers begged me to meet for a drink. I made my way to one of our local taverns-and when I walked in...my wonderful mother had everyone clap. I felt my face get hot and I knew it was bright as a cherry. This random handsome blonde man walked up to me and said something along the lines of, "Hi, I feel like I already know you because your mom told me all about you-can I buy you a drink?" That drink was one of the most awkward interactions of my whole life, thanks to my mom. Stefan and I exchanged numbers and one day we started talking. I was immediately attracted to the fact that he was able to meet my sarcasm with even MORE sarcasm. For months we would randomly hang out BUT ONLY during the week-if it was on the weekend then he was my boyfriend, right? We couldnt be doing that because I had sworn off everyone and so had Stefan at that time. Somehow we quickly became each other's go-to confidant and closest friend. We would randomly go on hikes and grab sushi with absolutely no strings attached. We simply made each other happy. We never established any guidelines. After months of this-we accidently wound up at the same music festival. I couldn't help but cringe at the fact that there was another girl with him and his group of friends. I thought OH CRAP what did i get myself into?!? That's when we ended up swallowing our pride and finally made it official. A few months later I met the #1 girl and love of Stefan's life, Alexis. They've both brought me more joy than I've ever imagined! I hope you'll join us on our special day!
