Written in the Stars

We met at Curington Elementary School in 1999. Though we weren’t in the same class, the playground was where we ran into each other—sometimes even quite literally! Fast forward to our sophomore year of high school, and everything changed. That’s when we truly connected and became inseparable. We’d ride around Boerne (mostly in Cailey's car because Rob never had gas money), with Taylor Swift blasting from the speakers, creating our own personal soundtrack to the memories we were making. And who could forget our Harry Potter marathons? We’d lose ourselves in the wizarding world, eagerly quoting our favorite lines and debating which house we belonged to. Though we were best friends, we may have had crushes on each other—just never at the same time. While we grew apart for a while, in 2022, we both found ourselves back in the same town at the same time in the same place, except this time we were both crushing on each other AT THE SAME TIME. And now we are getting married! It's funny how life works... some may say it was Written in the Stars.
