Like most modern love stories, ours started online in May of 2025. After a few weeks of talking, we scheduled our first date at Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers on June 8th and were inseparable since! From that first date, everything felt easy and natural, like we had known each other forever. We became official on July 18, 2025 (not for a lack of trying from Cheyton for a month, haha). From then on we knew we had met 'The One', the person we couldn't spend another moment away from.

When you know, you know... and for us, it didn't take long to realize we had found something so very special. Just six months into dating, we already knew we wanted forever together and had many conversations about it beforehand. On December 20, 2025, we were headed over to Buckeye to visit Cheyton's family for Christmas. On the drive over, Cheyton got a call from his sister, saying plans had changed and instead of meeting at their house, we were going to meet at a restaurant (this was all part of the plan, thank you Kenadie). The view from this restaurant is breathtaking, overlooking a golf course and beautiful mountain overlook. Stepping out of the car, Chey insisted that Cailey wears her heels instead of sandals and in that moment, she knew. It was the easiest yes ever!
